ITALIA 90: WHEN FOOTBALL CHANGED FOR EVER

This three part Channel 4 series went beyond normal sports docs. As well as the football, it charted the music, the fashion, the drama and the downfall of Englands hooligan culture that helped change people’s perception of football. The sport reclaimed its place in people’s hearts, with some even crediting the tournament’s mainstream appeal as being the catalyst for the Sky boom in Britain that took over football in the following years and made it the global, family-orientated, multi-billion-pound industry it is today.

As Creative Director at Double Act TV Larry lead the development and pitch of the concept and also executive produced the series.
